Notre Dame Monuments, Inc. has been a family-owned and operated business for over 85 years since it was established in 1933. Dave Montovani owns and runs the business, along with his daughter Katherine Montovani.
Notre Dame Memorial Company was originally established in 1933 by John C. Mikuszewski (1907 – 1973) on the very same location that we are on today. He started the business during the Great Depression and with hard work and perseverance, created a reputable and prosperous business. In 1946 Frank P. Mikuszewski (1919 – 1998) joined after serving in the US Navy in World War II. With the foundation of this family business firmly established, John Mikuszewski (1951 – 2018) joined the business in 1973 and managed the business for 45 successful years.
In 2019, after working with John Mikuszewski for over 20 years as an expert engraver, Dave Montovani established what is now Notre Dame Monuments, Inc. Dave has extensive industry experience and knowledge, which shows in his workmanship and attention to detail. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated business, as Dave was joined in 2019 by his daughter, Katherine, who manages the office and sales.
After almost 85 years in the monument business, we are one of the most highly recommended full service monument companies in Western Massachusetts. We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality in product, design and workmanship.
